1. Product Introduction

Remarks

1. Different viscosity and type of base oil have a great influence on the antirust time of emulsion. It is recommended to use No. 5 or No. 10 paraffin base oil or T22 cycloalkyl base oil as the base oil used in the formula;

2. The hardness of water quality will greatly shorten the salt spray time. It is recommended to use soft water or deionized water for dilution.

3. Since RP7570 needs to add diethylene glycol monobutyl ether before emulsification, there is no need to worry about the emulsification of pure oil-type antirust products.

Emulsion salt spray

Test ratio: 25% RP7570 + 5% diethylene glycol butyl ether + 70% T22

Test method: Dilute the above stock solution with pure water and 200ppm hard water according to 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% respectively, and then carry out salt spray test. Here we will discuss the influence of water quality hardness on anti-rust salt spray.

Rust resistance test

Test method: Dilute schemes 1 and 2 according to the ratio of 1:20 (Shanghai residents' domestic water), take 5g of cast iron powder and wash it with IPA (dry), place 90mm filter paper in a petri dish, introduce washed cast iron powder, pour in diluent, soak for 5 minutes, pour it out, cover the petri dish lid, and leave for 2 hours to observe rust.
