RP7408 has excellent anti rust performance

  1. Product Introduction
  1. Ash-free anti-rust agent, suitable for various anti-rust occasions that cannot contain metal elements;
  2. Good anti-rust and anti-emulsification performance;
  3. Multi-purpose, can be used in traditional industrial oil, can also be used in metal processing fluid;
  4. It can completely replace anti-rust additives such as ternary acid, decanedioicacid and 1,10-decanedicarboxylic acid;
  5. The addition amount is low, only 0.3-0.5% can be added to achieve a good anti-rust effect.
  6. Recommended for industrial oil, forming oil, cutting oil, metal processing fluid products.

Test concentration: 0.5%RP7408 dissolved in No. 46 base oil

Test environment: Pour 300ml of the liquid to be tested into a beaker and add 30ml of synthetic seawater (refer to ASTM D665 for the configuration method). Stir at 60 ℃ for 24 hours at a speed of 1200r/min to observe the corrosion of steel rods.

Test method: Add 5g of cast iron powder into 100ml of 5% diluent (Shanghai residents’ tap water, 200ppm calcium and magnesium hard water, 500ppm calcium and magnesium hard water, 800ppm calcium and magnesium hard water), soak for 1 minute, take out and place on filter paper for 24 hours to observe antirust performance.
